**Experience Required:** Minimum 3 – 5 years experience in the development sector, particularly one year experience in FPO/Community Institutions.

 

**Job Description:**

 

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Agri-Business, FPO Coordinator to join our team in Bihar. As an Agri-Business, FPO Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the development and growth of Farmers Producer Organizations (FPOs) in the region. You will be responsible for leading and managing the selection, monitoring, and evaluation of new and existing FPOs, generating awareness among women farmers, and facilitating their participation in FPOs. 

 

**Key Responsibilities:**

 

* Lead and manage the selection, monitoring, and evaluation of new and existing FPOs.

* Generate awareness, mobilize women farmers, organize and incorporate FPOs.

* Create business opportunities for FPOs and manage them successfully and profitably.

* Provide support for the functioning of FPOs as per the guidelines of the producer company.

* Develop a business development plan and detailed roadmap for FPOs.

* Mobilize resources for the Producer Company and implement them.

* Ensure an increase in top-line (business turnover) and bottom-line (net profit) of the company.

* Facilitate and strengthen the functioning of FPOs and their operations.

* Build linkages with stakeholders relevant for the FPO ecosystem (Banks/NABARD/ SFAC/District and Block Line departments).

* Establish systems and processes for updating MIS and accounts, statutory audits and finance management.

* Set systems for input procurement and distribution, output aggregation, and training farmers on primary processing such as grading, sorting & packaging.

* Ensure timely collection of program data and maintain MIS.

* Prepare quarterly/half yearly/annual reports of the CBBO Project.

* Ensure the maintenance of all documentation related to the CBBO Project.

* Perform any other responsibilities deemed necessary for the role.

 

**Skills & Competencies:**

 

* In-depth understanding of FPOs and related aspects, monitoring, evaluations, and reporting functions, especially in the context of FPOs.

* Good training and facilitation skills.

* Excellent liaison skills.

* Strong marketing skills.

* Experience in Agriculture, Marketing, FPOs, and Capacity Building.

* Fluency in both oral and written communication in English & Hindi.

* Pertinent proficiency in computer operations.
