**Job Description: Agriculture Marketing Manager**
**Location:** Gadu, Somnath, Gujarat

**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Develop and implement detailed input and output business plans for Farmer Producer Companies (FPCs) to ensure timely execution.
2. Ensure FPCs achieve a minimum of 70% membership through effective supply chain management for inputs and outputs.
3. Facilitate the acquisition of necessary licenses and ensure compliance with statutory requirements for input and output marketing activities.
4. Train FPC field workers on quality assessment, procurement procedures, storage, and material handling to enhance their contribution to the output business.
5. Collect and compile season-wise demand data for inputs and outputs by engaging with Farmer Interest Groups (FIGs), Cluster Level Associations (CLAs), and producer company board members.
6. Conduct seasonal assessments to identify commodities, quantities, and quality available for marketing through FPC field workers.
7. Prepare procurement and logistics plans, set realistic targets, and facilitate their achievement in collaboration with the FPC CEO and field teams.
8. Establish procurement centers equipped with necessary infrastructure and linkages with potential buyers, including institutional buyers, to ensure remunerative pricing for farm produce.
9. Develop strategies for village-level marketing of inputs and outputs, ensuring transparent financial systems and digital transactions between FPCs and members.
10. Analyze sales data, monitor input and output marketing activities, and ensure profitability for FPCs while maintaining quality standards.
11. Prepare MIS reports, maintain documentation, and track input/output marketing activities using necessary templates and systems.
12. Attend FIG and CLA meetings to collect demand data and present plans for review and approval by the Board of Directors (BOD).
13. Facilitate capacity building of teams and FPC members in input and output marketing.
14. Perform any additional responsibilities assigned by the Team Leader or project management team.
**Qualifications:**
– Education: B.Sc. (Agri) or MBA (Marketing).
– Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in agri-input and output supply chain management within a farmer producer company or Non-Governmental Organization (NGO).
– Skills: Strong computer proficiency, ability to prepare PPTs and project progress reports, excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Gujarati.
– Competencies: Ability to work in teams, lead initiatives, solve problems creatively, and manage multiple tasks independently.
– Commitment: A strong sense of urgency for development and dedication to improving farmers’ lives.
