**Job Description: Agriculture Marketing Manager**

 

**Location:** Gadu, Somnath, Gujarat  

**Experience Required:** 3 to 5 years of experience in agri input and output supply within a farmer producer company (FPC) or Non-Government Organization (NGO).

**Key Responsibilities:**  

1. Develop detailed input and output business plans for FPCs and ensure their timely implementation.  

2. Ensure FPCs achieve a minimum of 70% membership through effective supply chain management.  

3. Facilitate the acquisition of necessary licenses and ensure compliance with statutory requirements for input and output marketing activities.  

4. Train FPC field workers on quality assessment, procurement procedures, storage, and material handling to enhance their contribution to the output business.  

5. Collect and compile season-wise input and output demand information by engaging with Farmer Interest Groups (FIG), Cluster Level Associations (CLA), and producer company Board members.  

6. Conduct seasonal assessments to identify commodities, quantities, and quality available for marketing through FPC field workers.  

7. Prepare procurement and logistics plans for each FIG, setting realistic targets in collaboration with the FPC CEO and field workers.  

8. Establish procurement centers equipped with necessary infrastructure and facilitate linkages with potential buyers, including institutional buyers, to ensure remunerative pricing.  

9. Develop strategies for eMarketing by registering FPCs on various trading platforms.  

10. Manage business growth, monitor buyer demand, and oversee fund requirements and sanctions from the Board of Directors (BOD).  

11. Prepare MIS reports, maintain documentation, and attend FIG and CLA meetings as required.  

12. Capacity building of team members and FPC members in input and output marketing.

**Qualifications:**  

– Education: B.Sc. (Agri) or MBA in Marketing.  

– Skills: Strong computer skills, including the ability to prepare PPTs and project progress reports.  

– Language Proficiency: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Gujarati.
