**Job Description: Agriculture Marketing Manager**

 

**Location:** Gadu, Somnath, Gujarat  

**Experience Required:** 3 to 5 years in agri input and output supply within a farmer producer company or Non-Government Organization (NGO).

**Key Responsibilities:**  

1. Develop detailed input and output business plans for Farmer Producer Companies (FPCs) and ensure their timely implementation.  

2. Ensure FPCs achieve a minimum 70% member participation through supply activities.  

3. Facilitate the acquisition of necessary licenses and compliance with statutory requirements for input and output marketing.  

4. Train FPC field workers on quality assessment, procurement, storage, and handling processes.  

5. Collect and compile season-wise input and output demand data by engaging with Farmer Interest Groups (FIG) and Cluster Level Associations (CLA).  

6. Lead seasonal assessments to identify commodities, quantities, and qualities for marketing.  

7. Prepare procurement and logistics plans, setting realistic targets in collaboration with FPC CEOs and field workers.  

8. Establish procurement centers with essential infrastructure and equipment.  

9. Build linkages with potential buyers, including institutional ones, and monitor market trends for favorable pricing.  

10. Implement eMarketing strategies by registering FPCs on trading platforms.  

11. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements for output marketing.  

12. Manage business growth, monitor buyer demand, and oversee fund planning and sanctioning.  

13. Facilitate the procurement and delivery of inputs to FPC members.  

14. Develop transparent financial systems and promote digital transactions between FPCs and members.  

15. Analyze sales data to ensure profitable and competitive marketing strategies.  

16. Prepare MIS reports, maintain documentation, and attend FIG and CLA meetings for demand collection.  

17. Present plans to the Board of Directors (BOD) and incorporate feedback for revisions.  

18. Conduct capacity building for team members and FPCs in input and output marketing.  

 

 

**Skills & Competencies Required:**  

– Good computer knowledge, including PPT preparation and project progress reporting.  

– Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Gujarati.  

– Ability to work in teams, handle ambiguity, and demonstrate situational leadership.  

– Solution-oriented problem-solving skills with a commitment to development.  

– Hardworking, achievement-oriented, and able to multi-task independently.
