The Opportunity
We are seeking young dynamic professionals who are passionate about understanding how a company functions and driving organisational change through data and strategy. The individual should thrive by demonstrating strong business acumen, collaborating with various teams in Sattva and able to influence without authority, instill behaviour change and solve complex organisation scaling problems with utmost urgency. Individuals will be demonstrating the following abilities on an everyday basis:
Key Responsibilities
Your role as a key member of the finance team you will be responsible for ensuring 100% accurate recording and reporting of company accounts on a regular basis. Following are key responsibilities:
● Accounts receivable & associated processes:
- Ensuring recording of customer details and accounts receivable pipeline in QB/ Accounting System
- Recording, Raising Invoice and Debit Note
● Accounts payable & associated processes
- Payments to vendors: Recording the expenses in the accounting system to accurate cost centres, projects and initiating the payments to vendors, including business utilities, taxes etc.
- Employee reimbursements: Ensuring that the bills are in alignment with company policies and approving the requests in a timely manner
- Statutory payments: Preparing accurate income tax, GST and other statutory returns on a monthly, quarterly, annual basis
- Assist and engage the third-party consultants with audits, filing statutory return
- Payroll & associated processes
- Processing the salaries in a timely manner, cross verifying the data shared by Business Ops team
● Communication
- Actively communicating with team members on any changes, new policies, change in bank accounts etc
- Address and resolve queries of employees or customers on tax returns, payments or any other related to the function
Who we are looking for
- 0-2 years of relevant experience in finance, financial planning & analysis, accounts, or other related fields
- Ability to assimilate / summarise large amounts of information from multiple sources demonstrate patterns and trends, make recommendations and draw conclusions
- Have a sound knowledge of management accounting principles and financial accounting principles (IFRS)
- Expert user with Excel and other MS Office products
- Problem solving ability, ability to multitask and meet constant deadlines
