SELCO Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to alleviating poverty through the deployment of clean energy solutions in tribal, rural, and urban poor areas. They collaborate with partners in the social sector, energy entrepreneurs, NGOs, and educational institutions to link sustainable energy benefits with poverty eradication. SELCO works across various verticals such as energy access, health, and livelihoods, with a focus on developing scalable and inclusive solutions using Decentralized Renewable Energy (DRE).

**Position:** Arunachal Pradesh State Lead – SELCO Foundation

**Employment Type:** Full-time

**Years of Experience:** 8 to 12 years

**About the Role:**

SELCO Foundation is seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual to lead their team in Arunachal Pradesh. The State Lead will be responsible for developing and executing a state-specific strategy to expand SELCO’s work in DRE for health and livelihoods, ensuring the organization’s mission is effectively implemented.  

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Develop and implement strategic plans for SELCO’s programs in Arunachal Pradesh.

* Build and manage a cross-cultural team responsible for program execution, monitoring, and evaluation.

* Identify, engage, and build partnerships with key stakeholders including local communities, government departments, enterprises, financial institutions, NGOs, and grassroots organizations.

* Manage budgets, cash flows, and secure finances for renewable energy interventions through various funding sources.

* Develop operational plans for research programs, pilot initiatives, and ecosystem building for scaling programs.

* Track, analyze, and evaluate the performance of the team and solutions, sharing regular reports on program status, risks, learnings, and challenges.

* Organize and facilitate training workshops for team development and capacity building.

* Ensure adherence to organizational, operational, and assessment processes and guidelines.

* Travel extensively across the state and beyond, as required.

**Ideal Candidate Profile:**

* Minimum of 7 to 10 years of work experience in the development sector with a focus on sustainable energy and rural livelihoods.

* Strong understanding of grassroots communities, languages, and livelihood practices in Arunachal Pradesh.

* Proven experience in regional level leadership and effective team management.

* Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to perform, prioritize, and delegate tasks seamlessly.

* Experience in budgeting and forecasting.

* Proactive problem-solving abilities with strong decision-making skills.

* Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

* Adaptable to diverse situations and organizational requirements.

* Willingness to learn, grow, and develop at a rapid pace.
