## Job Description: Arunachal Pradesh State Lead

SELCO Foundation’s focus is on transforming the efficiency of Decentralized Renewable Energy (DRE) initiatives towards poverty alleviation. We recognize and build on the potential of DRE to develop scalable and inclusive solutions that address the needs of underserved communities.

 

**Job Location:** Arunachal Pradesh, India

 

**Experience Required:** 8 to 12 years of experience in the development sector, with a focus on sustainable energy and rural livelihoods.

 

**Key Responsibilities:**

 

* Develop and implement a state-specific strategy for SELCO Foundation’s work in Arunachal Pradesh.

* Lead and build a team to manage the planning, execution, and monitoring of programs.

* Identify and engage key stakeholders, including local communities, government departments, enterprises, financial institutions, NGOs, and grassroot organizations.

* Nurture and manage partnerships with a focus on SRLM’s, financial institutions, enterprises, CBOs, FPOs, and other relevant stakeholders.

* Secure funding for renewable energy-based interventions through various sources, including banks, MFIs, and Central and State government schemes.

* Oversee the development of operational plans, including community needs assessments, research programs, pilot projects, and ecosystem building.

* Ensure efficient information flow, enhanced management reporting, and expansion of operational systems as needed.

* Track, analyze, and evaluate program performance, sharing regular reports and capturing key risks, learnings, and challenges.

* Organize and facilitate training workshops for team members to enhance their skills and capacity.

* Ensure adherence to organizational processes and guidelines, escalating issues as necessary.

* Travel extensively within and outside the state to support program implementation.

 

**Ideal Candidate Profile:**

 

* Proven experience in leading and managing teams in the development sector.

* Strong understanding of grassroots communities, languages, and livelihood practices in Arunachal Pradesh.

* Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

* Experience in developing and implementing strategic plans.

* Expertise in budgeting and financial management.

* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

* Strong communication skills, both written and oral.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.

* Passion for making a positive impact in underserved communities.
