Roles & Responsibilities

Incumbent will be responsible for –

– Promoting sports activities in schools and communities under Sports for Change initiative.

– Managing NGO’s independently and partner management

– Implementing Talent Identification programs for schools and organizing coaching sessions for students

– Implementing large scale competitions for school children

– Create a real time database of tournaments at state / regional / national levels

– Network with State Sports Associations and ensure regular participation of Sports for Change children in all the sports events happening in various states.

– Facilitate sports scholarships and other grants for eligible students from schools and communities

– Create Linkages with authorized sports federations.

Attributes and Experience:

· Experience working with sports associations, agencies, etc. and involvement in organizing events, especially for children.

· Good Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PPT & Word.

· Good understanding of Project Management

  • Experience in working with NGOs/Sports Foundations.
  • Ability to independently deliver on time, to work with a range of stakeholders, to perform in a corporate environment and to present the work at various forums.
  • Experience of managing complex and time-sensitive processes.
  • Should have prior experience of handling atleast 1Cr budget
  • Experience in networking and liaising.

Educational & Sports Qualifications:

  • MBA in Sports Management / M. P.Ed are equivalent course from an authorized university.
  • Should have played at National Level
