NSRCEL is the startup incubator of the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIM Bangalore).  We are dedicated to fostering innovation and economic growth by mobilizing India’s entrepreneurship ecosystem.  We’ve worked with numerous entrepreneurs and boast partnerships with major corporations like Goldman Sachs, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Maruti Suzuki, Capgemini, and Alstom, supporting entrepreneurs in sectors such as mobility, fintech, AI, and climate-focused ventures.  To date, over 115,600 entrepreneurs have participated in our programs and events.

**Job Description:**

The Assistant Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the growth and success of startups within NSRCEL’s Velocity program.  This position requires a highly motivated individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in the incubation space.

**Responsibilities:**

* Own program outreach and establish and manage outreach partnerships.

* Nurture, build, and serve a portfolio of startups across diverse sectors.

* Lead the planning and design of program initiatives, proactively monitor progress, resolve issues, and take appropriate action.

* Work closely with internal teams to ensure the successful fulfillment of founder needs.

* Identify key problems in startups and provide support and interventions to help them overcome challenges.

* Manage multiple stakeholders, including founders and funding partners.

* Design, manage, and optimize incubation Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

* Design and implement program interventions.

* Network and build partnerships with key players in the entrepreneurship ecosystem (co-incubation partners, technology and policy partners, research bodies).

* Act as a liaison between various NSRCEL team functions.

**Requirements:**

* 3-5 years of experience in the incubation space, with significant exposure to India’s entrepreneurship ecosystem.

* Superior analytical skills and the ability to solve complex, ambiguous problems.

* A strong bias for action and ownership.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

* Team-oriented and possess strong interpersonal skills.

* Comfortable engaging with and managing multiple stakeholders.

**Experience Required:** 3-5 years (within the incubation space)
