WWF-India, one of the largest conservation organizations, engaged in wildlife and nature conservation in the country, invites applications fromcandidatesfor the position of Assistant Manager: Media Communication & PR.

We are looking to recruit for an exciting position within WWF-India’s central Marketing and Communications team, working directly with all departments within the organization. The ideal candidate will have superb communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, and must be tech-savvy and proficient with project management.

Location: New Delhi

Job Profile:

  • Support the Media and PR unit
  • Coordinate and communicate with the organization’s programme, field, landscape and state teams for Media and Comms related work; which could often involve transforming scientific content and data into engaging stories for all mediums
  • Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts
  • Work closely with external agencies, editors and network resources to create and deliver stories effectively
  • Visualize, collate and create content for various stakeholders, both internally and externally
  • Maintain quality checks across all forms of communication
  • Create and deploy a communications plan and calendar: in co-ordination with different departments
  • Create content/write for press releases and marketing collateral
  • Advise and guide the social media team to engage audiences across traditional and new media
  • Monitor, analyze and communicate media and outreach results

Desired Qualifications:

  • BA/MA degree in Journalism, Media/PR, Mass Media & Communications or related discipline
  • Minimum experience – 4 years
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to coordinate/manage multiple tasks simultaneously and be a forward thinker

Desired Skills:

  • Proven track record in designing and executing successful Media and creative campaigns at local and national levels
  • Extensive experience in content creation and management across all social media platforms
  • A creative and collaborative mindset with the ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
