**Job Description**

 

WWF-India is seeking a highly motivated and creative **Assistant Manager Communications – Writer** to join our team in **New Delhi, India**. This role will play a crucial part in crafting engaging and impactful content for a variety of communication channels, contributing to WWF-India’s mission of safeguarding the natural world.

 

**Responsibilities:**

 

* Develop compelling and informative content for various communication platforms, including website, social media, press releases, newsletters, and reports.

* Research and gather information on WWF-India’s projects, initiatives, and conservation efforts.

* Write clear, concise, and engaging copy that aligns with WWF-India’s brand voice and communication strategies.

* Collaborate with the Communications team to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment across all platforms.

* Proofread and edit written content for accuracy, clarity, and style.

* Contribute to the development of communication campaigns and materials.

* Stay abreast of current trends and best practices in writing and communication.

 

**Qualifications:**

 

* Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communication, English Literature, or a related field.

* Minimum of 3 years of experience in a writing role, preferably within the conservation or non-profit sector.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Strong research and analytical abilities.

* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

* A passion for conservation and a commitment to WWF-India’s mission.
