**Job Description:**

 

The Assistant Manager – Design will play a crucial role in WWF-India’s communication team, leading the development and design of high-quality communication and outreach materials for all program landscapes.  This involves creating a wide range of materials, including posters, social media creatives, illustrations for reports, newsletters, pamphlets, and booklets, utilizing content and photographs from various field projects.

 

**Key Responsibilities:**

 

* Ideate and execute visual communication content for both internal and external communication across all WWF-India programs.

* Design and lay out collaterals to meet deadlines.

* Create fresh designs and video content, demonstrating a strong visual understanding.

* Manage a team of design consultants/freelancers.

* Coordinate with stakeholders and internal communication teams to produce engaging visual content.

* Assist in ideating, laying out, and designing the Programme Newsletter.

* Serve as the primary point of contact for all program-level design work.

* Enhance the quality standards of designed materials.

* Work with external agencies and network resources to source and disseminate design content.

* Maintain a repository of photos, videos, and other visual content from all programs.

* Create design templates for replication by field teams.

* Bring creativity and fresh appeal to existing collaterals.

 

 

**Requirements:**

 

* Professional training in design software and/or a bachelor’s degree in design.

* Minimum three years of experience.  Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the social sector.

* Interest in wildlife conservation, climate change, and other environmental issues.

 

 

**Experience Required:** 3+ years (Preference given to candidates with experience in the social sector)
