## Assistant Manager – Zonal Leads 

 

**Breakthrough Trust** is a leading non-profit organization dedicated to using arts and culture to promote human rights and inspire action for change. We are currently seeking an **Assistant Manager – District/Zonal Leads** to join our team in **Punjab**. 

 

**About the Role:**

 

This position will report to the Senior Manager – SPSU (State Head – Punjab) and will be responsible for the overall management and implementation of our **Scale up program on Gender Transformative Education System (GTES)** in different zones of Punjab. Each zone comprises a cluster of 7-8 districts. 

 

**Key Responsibilities:**

 

* Manage and implement the GTES program in the assigned district, aligning with Breakthrough’s goals.

* Coordinate with partners, institutions, schools, and school administrative officers in the districts.

* Organize and facilitate meetings with teachers, school heads, school administrative and monitoring officials, and partner teams.

* Support partners in engaging with platforms like SMCs and PTMs.

* Organize and facilitate issue and skill-based workshops to raise awareness about adolescent rights and empowerment issues through the GTES lens.

* Assist team members from different Breakthrough centers in conducting program monitoring and research activities.

* Document the program, including change stories, and report back to the state on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.

* Develop engagement tools (campaigns, events, etc.) for the school education system and other stakeholders.

* Manage allocated budget and account processes.

* Update real-time MIS and database.

* Conduct regular field visits and monitor the work of team members.

* Connect and share on-ground activities with online platforms.

* Lead HR and operations-related work for the team, ensuring timely delivery.

* Collaborate and support other centers within the organization.

 

**Specific Knowledge, Skill & Experience Required:**

 

* 5-7 years of experience in the social sector.

* Proven team handling and project implementation experience.

* Ability to manage pressure and uncertainty arising from project and organizational demands.

* Excellent writing skills in Hindi and/or English.

* Proficiency in Punjabi (speaking, reading, and writing).

* Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

* Strong planning and execution skills in the field.

* Excellent documentation skills.

* Prior experience working with adolescents and youth is preferred.

* Experience in group formation and community organization methods is preferred.
