Title: Assistant Manager- Diversity & Inclusion

Location: Bangalore.

Reports to: Diversity & Inclusion Lead

Overview & Key Responsibilities:

At NASSCOM Foundation, Diversity & Inclusion team, we help organizations to build a work environment that embraces diversity and where employees, customers, and other stakeholders thrive and succeed.

As a key member of the team, she/he/they will be managing the Diversity & Inclusion initiatives of the NASSCOM Foundation. The broad structure of responsibilities is noted below.

  • Managing large-scale Diversity & Inclusion projects with multiple stakeholders across cross-functional teams with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including community leaders and representatives of diverse groups
  • Collaborate with external organizations, such as professional associations and community groups, to promote diversity and inclusion within the organization and the broader community.
  • Support and facilitate training, workshops, and other educational opportunities for employees to increase their understanding and appreciation of diversity and inclusion.
  • Develop & execute projects, programs, and services that generate value for all stakeholders, and own the overall responsibility for the successful execution of the program.
  • Researches project requirements, project planning, and activity schedules.
  • Using best practice research and analysis of data, make recommendations for additional Diversity & Inclusion programs.
  • Work with Marketing & Communications team to ensure Diversity & Inclusion content is appropriately represented in our internal and external communication is timely and effective.
  • Supervise and monitor programs to achieve milestones within given timelines and budgets.
  • Ensure adoption of best practices in programs created and executed.
  • Experience in managing events and summits (Virtual & in-person).
  • Any other incidental work as and when required.

Key Requirements

  • Graduate with overall 5+ years of work experience. At least 2-3 years in Diversity & Inclusion.
  • Excellent program and project management experience, handling programs from initiation through to execution
  • Experience in research & marketing and communication s is an added advantage
  • Ability to grasp a basic understanding of new and emerging technologies.
  • Experience in managing large complex projects with multiple stakeholders across cross-functional teams with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written communication, and presentations skills
  • Experience in team and people management.
