Role: Assistant Manager- Education

Location: Partner Projects, Delhi NCR

Experience: Minimum 5 years work experience, at least 3 years in the education sector required. Program Improvement, Program Effectiveness, Program Evaluation.  Working with Government or Government Officials is preferred. 

Qualification: Master’s or Equivalent degree required.

Roles and Responsibilities:  

City Level: 

  • Study and understand various education programs of the organization. 
  • Manage and evaluate all the education programs with respect to their goals, progress to goals and sustainability. 
  • Monitor the fund utilization of the partners on a quarterly basis and ensure funds are reaching the beneficiaries as per the agreement. 
  • Help build the capacity of the NGO partners through regular trainings and evaluation meetings. 
  • Closely interact with all the stakeholders involved in the projects and accordingly suggest changes and improvements in the programs. 
  • Indulge in strategic planning with programs Heads/CEOs of the partner organizations and assist them in making informed decisions about future course of action to reach the set goals.
  • Conduct education meetings with all the partners to enable cross leaning within the city. 

Foundation Level: 

  • Collaborate with other cities Education Heads to ensure uniformity and seize learning opportunities as and when they arise.
  • Assist the Foundation in improving the education programs by constantly giving feedback and collaborating with multiple stakeholders.  
  • Assist the foundation for creating meaningful volunteering opportunities for the employees of the parent company and engage volunteers.  
  • Regular meetings with Government Staff and officials to maintain the existing relationships and create new meaningful relationships wherever required.  
  • Other responsibilities apart from the above mentioned.
  • Create avenues within the Foundation for employee engagement and volunteering. 

(c) External Stakeholders: 

  • Build meaningful relationships with government officials (both at the corporation level and the state level) and ensure their maximum participation in the foundation’s programs.  
  • Connect with education experts across the city and the country to learn from their experiences and get their opinions and feedback whenever required.    

Desired Skill Sets:

  • Understanding of skilling programs would be an advantage.
  • Must be a self-starter. 
  • Microsoft word, Excel, PowerPoint skills, Comfortable with google apps. 
  • Willingness to Travel within the city and other cities.
