**Job Overview:**

 

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager – Finance & Accounts to join our team in Gurugram. This position is responsible for maintaining the books of accounts, processing financial transactions, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

 

**Location:** Gurugram (Work from office)

 

**Employment Type:** Contractual (until March 2025, renewable based on project requirements)

 

**Reporting To:** Manager – Finance & Accounts

 

**Working Days:** 5 days a week (Monday – Friday)

 

**Responsibilities:**

 

* Prepare monthly budget projections and utilization reports.

* Prepare utilization reports and invoices for donor support.

* Maintain bills, vouchers, and invoices.

* Support in budget preparation, summary, and presentation to management.

* Manage contingency funds for projects.

* Collate and deliver bills.

* Maintain statements of stock for medicines, equipment, TMM, worksheets, and stationaries.

* Maintain books of accounts through Tally ERP.

* Review invoices from vendors and consultants and process payments.

* Ensure timely deduction, deposition, and filing of TDS returns.

* Handle payroll processing.

* Ensure compliance with audit requirements.

* Coordinate with banks and maintain bank reconciliation.

* Ensure adherence to all financial regulations.

* Manage petty cash.

* Perform other responsibilities and duties as assigned by Senior Management.

* Check travel and tour expenses and contractor bills, recording them in relevant software for timely crediting of employee accounts.

* Generate reports and documents for donors, government agencies, partners, and other stakeholders.

* Manage vendors – work order, payment, and maintaining bills.

 

**Qualifications:**

 

* Post-Graduation or Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or a related field.

* Minimum 5-7 years of relevant work experience in the development sector.

* Candidates with experience in institutional accounting are preferred.

* Experience in the development sector is highly desirable.

* Proficiency in Tally software.

* Excellent computer skills, particularly in Excel.
