Job Summary

To support accurate and timely maintenance of financial records including all statutory compliances (Income Tax, GST , FCRA, TDS, IFC, PF, Professional Tax etc.) along with multiple audits such as Statutory and  Internal Audits. 

Key Responsibilities

Books of Accounts & Financial Records

  • Ensures adherence to all the policies and procedures of the organization.
  • Ensure timely approvals of all transaction in Oracle ERP. 
  • Ensure all necessary provisions (monthly/quarterly/annual) are timely accounted.
  • Ensure periodic reconciliation of accounts, bank/vendor confirmations, Fixed Assets Register, Donor management system etc. 
  • Ensure seamless/smooth closure of monthly books of accounts including necessary co-ordination with State Program Units
  • Ensure regular and timely storage and archiving of all vouchers/documents on the designated online portal (Care Insite). 
  • Ensure Reviews of sub-ledger accounts – Receivables/Payables and ensures that   transactions are correctly recorded in the system accurately and against the relevant budgeted codes.
  • Collating and submitting various MIS reports, as required by the Line Manager’s to facilitate qualitative decision making. 
  • Ensure regular trainings for all users in PeopleSoft ERP. 
  • Support all enhancement activities including new reports, implementation of new modules etc. in PeopleSoft ERP
  • Ensure user access reviews are done in periodic manner alongwith addition and deletions of the users.  

Statutory and other regulatory compliances

  • Ensure compliance to various laws and regulations including
  • Income Tax
  • GST
  • FCRA
  • Provident Fund & ESIC 
  • Professional Tax
  • Any other applicable to the organization.       

Audits:

  • Facilitate all the information requirement to the Statutory /Internal/ Other Auditors
  • Co-ordination with different functions & Hub for necessary information & documents
  • Providing information to Budget & Grant Team for Donor Audits as & when required
  • Provide necessary support around any other task as required by the Line /Skip Managers.

Qualifications & Experience

CA/ICWA/MBA Finance /Postgraduate with 6-8 years of relevant experience.

Skills & Competencies 

Understanding of finance operations alongwith month closing activities, audit, and other regulatory compliance requirements 

Follow up skills with multiple contact points across various locations and departments. 

Proficiency in Computers. Comfortable using MS Office. Computer savvy with the ability to find improvised solutions

Good oral and written communication skills

Ability to plan, implement and complete tasks independently and on time
