About the role:

As an assistant manager (legal and process documentation), he or she will be pivotal in providing advanced administrative and legal support to the legal team. This multifaceted position involves legal research, meticulous document preparation, compliance management, and comprehensive administrative tasks. He or she will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless operation of the corporate legal function and process documentation, taking the lead in refining and enhancing established procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Legal Documentation:

  • Independently draft all corporate legal documents and review legal documents received from external parties, such as contracts, agreements, NDAs, MoUs, and diverse legal correspondences.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for internal teams, clients, external parties, and regulatory authorities concerning legal documentation and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide high-level administrative support to the legal team, including strategic scheduling of meetings, adept calendar management, and efficient handling of correspondence.
  • Issue-specific support on company secretarial matters, record keeping, document management, e-filing, and administrative support for high-profile meetings.
  • Ensure organizational compliance with all corporate legal and regulatory requirements.

2. Process Documentation:

  • Collaborate extensively with internal teams and subject-matter experts to meticulously document existing business processes, workflows, and procedures.
  • Drafting process documents by employing various mediums such as flowcharts, manuals, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensure documented processes align with rigorous regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Effectively communicate process changes, updates, and improvements to relevant stakeholders, actively seeking input and feedback for continuous process enhancements.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • LLB from a reputable institution, coupled with a distinguished track record in a law firm specializing in corporate law.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to craft error-free and well-organized documentation.
  • Demonstrated capacity to convey complex legal concepts clearly.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision, consistently delivering outcomes with ease.
  • Advanced drafting and vetting technical skill set is mandatory, showcasing a high level of expertise in legal document creation and review
