Job Description / Role & Responsibilities:

General Support:

  • Collaborate with the Program Manager to develop, execute, and evaluate arts education programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and educational standards.
  • Coordinate logistics for scheduling and conducting quarterly interviews to assess impact of program, site visits, social audits visits, workshops, classes, year end school exhibitions, including scheduling, venue arrangements.
  • Assist in workshop preparation, material procurement, inventory management and educational resources for year long programs.
  • Provide administrative support by maintaining program databases, partner and student records, attendance, and evaluations.
  • Manage the program calendar and set reminders to gather time sensitive reports and feedback.
    Communication and Outreach:
  • Assist in promoting arts education programs through various channels, including social media, newsletters, and community partnerships.
  • Communicate program details, schedules, and updates to implementation partners | instructors, and other stakeholders.
  • Support the creation of marketing materials and presentations to attract participants and engage the community when needed.
  • Facilitate communication between implementing partners and program management to ensure smooth operations and address any concerns.

Instructor Coordination:

  • Assist in training, and managing a diverse team of arts instructors | implementing partners.

Student Engagement:.

  • Organize and coordinate student showcases,to showcase their artistic achievements in collaboration with implementing partners.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to program participation, student outcomes, and feedback.
  • Conducting and analyzing baseline assessments, surveys, conducting quarterly interviews and preparing relevant reports.
  • Prepare regular reports on program effectiveness, enrollment trends, and student progress for program management and stakeholders.

Budget Management:

  • Assist in budget planning and expenditure tracking for arts education programs, ensuring financial resources are utilized efficiently.

Position Overview:

  • We are seeking a dedicated and creative Assistant Project Associate to join our dynamic team. As an Assistant Project Associate, you will play a vital role in supporting the planning, development, implementation, and coordination of arts education programs and initiatives.
  • Your enthusiasm for the arts, exceptional organizational skills, and strong interpersonal abilities will contribute to the success of our arts education initiatives and foster a vibrant learning environment.

About the project:

  • The objective of this program has been to introduce an art and activity based learning into classrooms in Tamil Nadu and J&K government schools.
  • This is a strategic partnership between CPB and our partners that will have a direct impact on the wellbeing of over 65,000 children across 850 schools.

Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Education, Arts Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Experience in the education sector
  • Demonstrated passion for and knowledge of various arts disciplines.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in Tamil, English is a must. Fluency in Hindi is also preferred.
  • Proficiency in Google and Microsoft Office Suite and digital communication tools.
  • Experience in program coordination, event planning, or education administration is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
