**Job Description: Assistant Research Manager – EPIC-India**

**Job Overview:**
The Assistant Research Manager will work closely with academic researchers and field staff to drive project initiatives at the State/District level. This role involves coordinating with stakeholders, managing field teams, overseeing project implementation, and supporting senior leadership in maintaining relationships with partner organizations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Facilitate coordination between external and internal stakeholders for inter-sectoral convergence.
– Assist with research, analysis, and preparation of documents for dissemination.
– Manage field teams, including recruitment, training, and supervision.
– Monitor and assess field work progress, conduct quality checks, and supervise staff during surveys.
– Support data collection, cleaning, and preliminary analysis.
– Engage with officials to facilitate data access and management.
– Develop project materials targeting policymakers and academic researchers.
**Qualifications:**
– **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Public Policy, Environment Policy, Science, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
– **Experience:** Minimum 4-5 years of experience, including at least 2 years of government-facing engagements in project management and stakeholder liaison.
– **Competencies:** Familiarity with impact evaluations and randomized controlled trials. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of data analysis software (Stata, R). Strong quantitative skills and excellent communication abilities in English and Hindi.
**Working Conditions:**
– Candidates must be legally authorized to work in India.
– Willingness to live in Jaipur and travel extensively is required.
