**Job Overview:**
This leadership role is responsible for establishing United Way Mumbai as a preferred philanthropy partner, attracting new partnerships, and cultivating enduring relationships with investors. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in achieving the organization’s ambitious fundraising goals.
**Job Responsibilities:**
* Achieve the organization’s annual fundraising targets (approximately INR 200 crore).
* Develop and implement a comprehensive resource mobilization strategy, leveraging existing relationships and forging new partnerships across diverse sectors.
* Identify and track funding opportunities, maintaining a robust pipeline of potential donors.
* Expand and diversify fundraising strategies to encompass corporate donors, institutional funders, high-net-worth individuals (HNIs), and individual giving campaigns.
* Lead and mentor a high-performing team, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality interactions with external stakeholders.
* Collaborate with internal and external teams to develop impactful programs and compelling funding proposals.
* Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with prospective and current donors.
* Represent United Way Mumbai at public forums and deliver engaging presentations to potential donors.
* Contribute to the creation of effective communication materials and documentation.
* Work towards positioning United Way Mumbai as the philanthropy partner of choice.
**Profile Requisites:**
* 10-15 years of experience in the development sector, with a proven track record in fundraising.
* Expertise in business development and relationship management with a diverse range of stakeholders.
* Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve ambitious goals.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence decision-making and craft compelling proposals and presentations.
**Remuneration:** INR 20-35 LPA (depending on qualifications, experience, and merit)
