The Associate Consultant will be an integral part of the practice areal, which is setting up a small and entrepreneurial team focused on the thematic area of healthcare. The person will focus on creating knowledge derivatives such as primers, perspectives (Op-eds), data-led, graphics and other such knowledge outputs to communicate and influence the sector towards democratizing healthcare and achieving Universal Health Coverage. The core focus of the team is to look at system-strengthening opportunities to strengthen public healthcare delivery 

The Associate will be responsible for a wide range of activities that are listed below. 

Developing and strengthening the domain knowledge and practice of healthcare for Sattva:

• Support in creating knowledge creation on the focus areas of healthcare
• Support in developing relevant partnerships
• Research and develop frameworks and recommendations for influencing philanthropy and other critical ecosystem stakeholders 

Problem Solving, Analysis and Narrative building  

• Identify and create multiple solutions for the problem at hand using different thinking approaches.
• Structuring and performing analysis, synthesizing the information to share critical insights, and forming new hypotheses 
• Conducting rigorous secondary and primary research to uncover the insights that support our recommendations to clients
• Drafting informative, compelling, and balanced narratives for the primers, perspectives and reports to meet the information needs of the ecosystem

Operations 

• Support the operations of the project/ program, including coordinating with multiple teams 
• Engage with the teams on the ground to effectively implement the  programs/project, ensuring focus on impact first 
• Creating reports, tools to inform the effectiveness of the project, on-ground  efforts 
• Maintaining and recording all critical documents associated with project  management, planning, and closure 
• Work with the team to ensure timely delivery of projects deliverables and  consistently deliver high-quality documents 
• Support in the documentation of learnings and potentially the creation of reusable  knowledge from the projects 

Background and Qualifications 

The Associate Consultant should have the following:  

• 2 to 4 years of professional experience in a role involving strong research, writing and analytical skills 
• Interest to work in healthcare and with public systems, and public health (background in health is not essential)
• Strong problem-solving skills; demonstrated ability to identify business issues, form hypotheses, design and conduct analyses, and synthesise insights into recommendations
• Exceptional interpersonal skills; strong executive presence
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with people at different levels in an organisation
• Skills to communicate complex ideas effectively in verbal and written forms
• Proficiency in English through Powerpoint, Word and Excel

Location and Remuneration

The position will be based out of  Delhi (Preferred) / Bangalore/ Mumbai and will involve travel to Sattva Headquarters in Bangalore (for non-Bangalore locations) and other locations as required. We follow a strong performance-oriented approach towards remuneration, and it will be decided as per the background & experience of the candidate.
