FAST India works closely with key stakeholders in the S&T ecosystem, including government, industry, and institutions, to promote innovation and research.

**Role Summary:**  

The Associate Director – Industry Vertical will lead FAST India’s engagement with the Indian industry. Key responsibilities include:  

– Building relationships with Industry CEOs, Industry Bodies (e.g., FICCI/CII), and select bureaucrats.  

– Providing thought leadership by developing a strategic view on various industry sectors in India.  

– Identifying areas of intervention, implementing them, and influencing the ecosystem through case studies and policy advocacy.  

– Creating sectoral advisory councils to guide FAST India’s roadmap for building India’s S&T capability.  

– Driving salience by showcasing industry exemplars and global benchmarks.  

– Building a high-performing team for the Industry vertical.  

**Key Qualifications:**  

– Proven track record of navigating complex environments to deliver outcomes.  

– Ability to think long-term, develop strategies, and adapt implementation in multi-stakeholder ecosystems.  

– Strong leadership presence with experience building a vertical from scratch, including hiring and motivating teams.  

– Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and the ability to interact with top industry leaders, academics, and government officials.  

– Ideally, B Tech/M Tech with an MBA and about 15 years of experience.
