**Role Summary:**
The Associate Director – Industry Vertical will lead FAST India’s engagement with the Indian industry. This role involves building relationships with industry leaders, advocating for S&T initiatives, and driving strategic interventions to enhance India’s position in science and technology.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Establish partnerships with industry CEOs, bodies like FICCI/CII, and bureaucrats.
– Develop strategic insights on industry sectors and create intervention areas.
– Form sectoral advisory councils to guide FAST India’s roadmap for national priority sectors.
– Promote industry best practices, case studies, and global benchmarks to drive innovation.
– Build a high-performing team for the Industry vertical.
**Key Qualifications:**
– Proven leadership in navigating complex environments to deliver outcomes.
– Ability to think long-term and adapt strategies in multi-stakeholder ecosystems.
– Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with top industry leaders, academics, and government officials.
