Job Description
The person will take on the responsibility for all accounting & finance related tasks at the office.
He/she will collaborate and work alongside our existing employees and volunteers in completing the assigned tasks. This person will also be responsible for managing other employees in the finance team.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage end to end Books of Accounts including preparation of monthly financial statements and MIS reports
- Provide strategic support to program teams in preparing and managing annual budgets with adequate controls, effective monitoring and reporting
- Effectively manage donor fund utilisation including providing real-time visibility for program teams and donors, preparing fund utilisation reports, and handling donor audits
- Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger functions
- Manage year-end Statutory audit, Income tax Filing and periodic statutory & legal compliances including FCRA returns
- Manage treasury operations including cash flow management and liaising with Banks & Financial Institutions
- Establish / improve SOPs, Finance policies, and systems to facilitate compliance and effective management of finance function
Education Qualification / Experience:
- 7-12 years of relevant work experience
- Prior experience with trust / society accounting is essential
- Professional qualification (CA / CMA or equivalent) is essential
- Hands-on experience in QuickBooks / Zoho Books or equivalent
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Good Interpersonal and communication skills
- Good working knowledge in MS office packages including Excel
- Resourceful, responsible, and self-starting
- Ability to manage data efficiently.

Scope: Full time, flexible work hours
Remuneration: based on the candidate’s profile
