The Associate will lead training programs while supporting efficient and smooth functioning and operations of all environment education initiatives nationally including Eco-Champs (School based Program) and/or other environmental education initiatives in Bhumi.
Primary Responsibilities of Program Associate:
- Lead and support training of volunteers and teachers to take the program to more children globally
- Oversee day-to-day operations including project delivery, logistics & reporting of the training program
- Support eco-champs project operations and delivery including outreach and volunteer management
- Collaborating with corporates, colleges, schools and other organizations to identify, manage and execute various volunteering opportunities for the Environment.
Requirements
Preferred Education Qualification / Experience:
- At least one year of experience in project management is preferable
- Prior experience in environmental issues and relevant sustainable solutions is
- Prior experience in the non-profit sector would be an advantage.
- Candidates with volunteering experience in Bhumi or similar organisations preferred
- Any graduate (environmental science is preferred)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Good influencing skills , people engagement, networking and listening skills
- Ability to drive outcome oriented plans through the team’s collective effort
- Good written and verbal communication skills– English
- Good computer knowledge and MS office skills
- Highly resourceful team-player, who is self-driven
- Forward-looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions
- Willingness to travel – locally and nationally

Scope: Full time
Reporting to: Assistant Program Manager, Eco-champs
Expected Joining Date: Immediate
Location: Chennai/Bangalore/Virtual
Minimum commitment: Two years
