About the Position

The Associate  Fellow to the CEO’s Office  is responsible for providing comprehensive support to the Sr. Fellow, CEO’s Office, the 2nd line Leadership and management Team,  Executive Team and managing the organization’s office operations, including coordinating with the teams working remotely. This dynamic position requires the ability to think on the feet, turnaround quickly and offer solutions to problems with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

This position will provide the selected candidate with an opportunity to understand the holistic operations of an organization. The position will require the person to work closely with the Sr. Fellow, CEO’s Office and as required with the CEO, and expects commitment from the work dedicatedly, deploy the resilience and thrive with learning.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strong support team member of the CEO’s Office and be able to coordinate internally and externally on various assignments all matters including those of a highly confidential nature
  • Work closely with the CEO’s office (Sr. Fellow) in coordination for event managements, prioritising inquiries and support in smooth functioning of daily engagements for the CEO and CEO’s office
  • Work with the Sr. Fellow, CEO’s Office to keep them well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately.
  • Work with the Teams to coordinate the CEO’s outreach activities. Follow up on contacts made by the CEO to cultivate ongoing relationships
  • Own and drive strategy and operations projects (business strategy, go-to-market, capability building, business planning, due diligence, operational problem solving, etc.)
  • Work closely with the leadership team to shape the future direction of the organization including defining the problem, breaking it down, formulating a hypothesis, structuring and conducting the analysis, synthesizing findings, storyboarding, and making recommendations
  • Work independently on some on-demand problems for the org with little direction or oversight
  • Lead the problem-solving process and be the goto fire-fighter on the team

Mandatory Qualification and Experience:

  • Post-graduate degree in management or any alike subjects with a preference for those having a multidisciplinary academic profile
  • Minimum 1 year of work experience in the development sector/consulting
  • Experience in communication or business development and/or knowledge management will be required
  • Prior experience of working with multilateral agencies/consulting firms and large foundations will be favourably looked upon
  • Strong organisational skills with the foundation of learning attitude

Desirable

  • Advance proficiency with Microsoft Office and desktop publishing software; ability to design and edit graphic presentations and materials.
  • Strong ability to execute work in a fast paced environment keeping the quality intact
  • Fresher with sound technical ability and a passion to learn and grow with humility
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with profundity in English
  • Exceptional organizational skills and impeccable attention to detail.
