**Job Purpose:**

 

We are seeking an Associate-Finance & Accounts with exceptional administrative and analytical financial skills to join our team.  This role will involve examining and compiling financial reports and ensuring a strong understanding of governmental regulations.  Success in this position requires a detail-oriented and problem-solving approach, along with robust mathematical and analytical abilities.

 

**Location:** Gurugram

 

**Type of Employment:** Contractual for a period of one year, renewable based on project requirements.

 

**No. of Positions:** 01

 

**Key Responsibilities:**

 

* Prepare monthly budget projections and track utilization.

* Maintain and review vendor invoices.

* Record all incoming and outgoing transactions, ensuring accurate account allocation.

* Analyze financial data to identify trends and generate financial and MIS reports, comparing to budget and providing various analyses to stakeholders.

* Create monthly receipt and expenditure statements, balance sheets, and other financial statements for management reporting.

* Reconcile ledger accounts and produce bank reconciliation statements.

* Oversee account audits as needed.

* Manage accounts payable and ensure timely payments.

* Maintain monthly stock statements for consumables.

* Manage book of accounts using Tally ERP.

* Ensure timely deduction, deposit, and filing of TDS returns.

* Guarantee strict adherence to all financial regulations.

* Manage petty cash.

* Perform other duties as assigned by the team.

* Verify travel and tour expenses, contractor bills, and record them in relevant software for timely crediting of amounts to employee accounts.

 

**Qualifications:**

 

* **Educational Qualifications:** Bachelor’s degree in commerce with a specialization in Accountancy/Finance.

* **Experience:** At least 2-3 years of experience in finance and accounts.

* **Skills:**

    * Strong understanding of financial management obligations, particularly statutory obligations and requirements.

    * Excellent analytical thinking, investigative, and problem-solving skills.

    * Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

    * Proficiency in Excel (Vlookup, Sum, If, Match, Conditional formatting).

    * In-depth knowledge of accounting, taxation, audit handling (statutory & tax), TDS, and matters related to finance and accounts.

    * Experience with Tally.
