**Job Purpose:**

 

We are seeking an Associate- Finance & Accounts to join our team.  This role requires strong administrative and analytical financial skills, with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving abilities.  

 

**Location:** Gurugram, India

 

**Type of Employment:** Contractual for a period of one year, renewable based on project requirements.

 

**Responsibilities:**

 

* Develop and maintain monthly budget projections and utilization reports.

* Manage and review vendor invoices.

* Maintain meticulous records of all incoming and outgoing transactions, ensuring accurate account allocation.

* Analyze transaction patterns and generate financial and MIS reports, comparing performance to budget and providing insights to stakeholders.

* Prepare monthly receipt and expenditure statements, balance sheets, and other financial reports for management.

* Reconcile ledger accounts and perform bank reconciliation.

* Manage accounts payable and ensure timely payments.

* Maintain monthly statements of consumable stock.

* Manage accounting books using Tally ERP.

* Timely deduction, deposition, and filing of TDS returns.

* Ensure strict adherence to all financial regulations.

* Manage petty cash.

* Perform other duties as assigned.

* Review travel and tour expenses and contractor bills, recording them in relevant software to ensure timely credit to employee accounts.

 

**Requirements:**

 

* Bachelor’s degree in commerce with specialization in Accountancy/ Finance.

* Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in finance and accounting.

* Strong understanding of financial management obligations, particularly statutory requirements.

* Analytical thinker with excellent investigative and problem-solving skills.

* Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including Vlookup, Sum, If, Match, and Conditional Formatting.

* Excellent understanding of accounting, taxation, audit management (statutory and tax), TDS, and other finance-related matters.

* Experience using Tally ERP.
