**Position Summary:**

The Associate, Finance & Accounts will be responsible for general accounting, vendor/consultant payment processing, reimbursement verification and accounting, and ensuring TDS compliance. This role reports to the Finance Manager / Associate Director – Finance. 

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Accounting in Tally package

* Validation and payment processing for vendor/consultants

* Verification of reimbursement claims of employees

* Ensuring TDS compliance

* Assisting with financial reporting and analysis

* Supporting other finance-related tasks as needed

**Required Qualifications and Experience:**

* Commerce Graduate (B. Com)

* 5-8 years of experience in basic accounting

* Proficient in Tally and MS Office, especially Excel

* Strong understanding of accounting principles

* Excellent organizational and analytical skills

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills

* Prior experience in social sector accounting is preferred

**Compensation:**

Remuneration will be competitive with Indian philanthropy pay scales and will depend upon the candidate’s experience levels.
