Job Opportunity for Associate Fundraising at Bhumi in Multiple Locations

Primary responsibilities:

  • Review and identify leads for grants from various sources, prepare and submit effective proposals
  • Manage fundraising operations and processes, in close collaboration with the Program Managers
  • Maintain a process for tracking grants, follow up on proposals submitted and fill in any information gaps if required
  • Work across program teams to maintain the relevant data from a fundraising & donor management standpoint
  • Work with programs teams to curate, and design proposals, and pitch decks
  • Handle any other onboarding requirements related to fundraising activities and grant awards
  • Ensure all the organization’s due diligence documentation is renewed and updated across partner portals
  • Collaborate with teams and submit reports on various Bhumi projects, within expected timelines, if required
  • Process donor receipts and manage gratitude communication with donors
  • Update donor database and maintain CRM tool
  • Keep tab on and renew organization’s accreditations

Additional responsibilities:

  • Connect with potential institutional donors including corporates, pitch suitable projects and complete the onboarding
  • Manage the relationship with acquired and assigned institutional donors. Be accountable for the engagement and growth in the relationship

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Creativity and attention to detail in written communication
  • Experience in proposal writing is an added advantage
  • Ability to take ownership of routine tasks
  • Ability to plan strategically, set priorities, multi-task, plan work, design approaches, and close commitments
  • Resourcefulness in being able to collate information from various sources
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Should be proactive and take the initiative in getting all tasks completed
  • Experience working with the Salesforce database is a plus
  • Good working knowledge of word/docs, excel/sheets, presentation/slides is a must

Requirements:

  • Preferred Education Qualification / Experience: Any graduate or postgraduate
  • 1-2 years experience in grant management/fundraising with NGOs preferable
  • Candidates who have worked in presales roles will be given preference
  • Candidates with volunteering experience in Bhumi or similar organisations preferred

Scope: Full time
Reporting to: Manager – Corporate Relations
Remuneration: 3-4 Lakhs p.a. CTC
Expected joining date: Immediate
Location: Mumbai/Pune/Chennai/Remote
