### **Job Summary:**  

The Associate Investment Officer will support IFC’s Transaction Advisory Services (CTA) team in Asia, focusing on South Asia and other assigned areas. This role involves providing transaction advisory services for PPPs, infrastructure projects, and corporate finance activities across sectors like energy, transport, healthcare, and urban services.

 

 

### **Key Responsibilities:**  

– **Business Development & Market Engagement:** Identify and manage marketing activities, collaborate with upstream teams to explore opportunities aligned with country strategies, and lead project concept development and tender processes.  

– **Project Management & Execution:** Support project teams in managing PPP transactions, reviewing legal and technical documentation, and facilitating negotiations with bidders.  

– **Advisory & Client Engagement:** Analyze project structures, develop innovative PPP models, and provide strategic recommendations to clients while engaging with key stakeholders.  

– **Strategic Collaboration & Policy Alignment:** Align with the World Bank’s regional programs and collaborate closely with World Bank teams to engage government stakeholders effectively.  

– **Team Development & Leadership:** Mentor junior team members and guide project activities to foster professional growth.

 

 

### **Qualifications:**  

– **Education:** Master’s degree, MBA, or equivalent qualification.  

– **Experience:** Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in transaction advisory, PPPs, M&A, project finance, or infrastructure sectors. Experience in sell-side PPP transactions is a plus.  

– **Skills:** Strong financial modeling and structuring skills, knowledge of legal documentation in PPP projects, and the ability to work under pressure with frequent travel.  

– **Additional Skills:** Excellent communication skills in English, established relationships with key stakeholders, and commitment to IFC’s mission.
