Job description

We are looking for an Associate* to work from our office in Dharamshala. You will become a part of Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) core team to strengthen M&E capabilities within the organization to provide most accurate, real-time & insightful data monitoring across functions. You will be working in close collaboration with the project teams or other functions stakeholders and will be responsible for developing centralized dashboards & data assets for providing valuable insights to support decision-making processes within the organization.

*The designation will be decided based on skills and experience as per the organization’s benchmark. 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Effectively collaborate with project or other functional stakeholders to determine their M&E requirements and pain points in existing data processes where M&E team can improve outcomes
  • Convert these raw, functional requirements into technical requirements for the M&E program
  • Lead development and deployment of centralized reports, dashboards, models and tools across functions, primarily using Google cloud platform tools – Google sheets, BigQuery, Looker Studio, etc.
  • Perform data analysis, synthesize clear takeaways from complex information and present findings to stakeholders
  • Adhere to SLA & quality standards in delivering data assets for the stakeholders
  • Develop a deeper understanding of social development sector, especially in the waste management sector to perform impact assessments

Skills and Attributes

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Data mining using SQL queries
  • Data visualization using BI tools such as Looker, Tableau or PowerBI
  • Highly proficient in Google Cloud Platform – sheets, docs, appscript and slides
  • Strong Interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • The ideal candidate should be a team player, enjoy working with a variety of stakeholders
