**Job Description**
**Position:** Associate – Research, Communications, and Data Insights
**Location:** Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh

**Experience Required:**
– 3–5 years of experience in the social/development sector with a focus on research, communications, or data analysis.
**Qualifications:**
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Public Policy, or related field.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Research & Analysis:** Conduct literature reviews, field research, and stakeholder interviews; develop policy briefs, research reports, and case studies; analyze qualitative and quantitative data to extract actionable insights.
2. **Communications & Narrative Building:** Translate complex data into accessible narratives; draft blogs, impact stories, op-eds, and thought leadership products; ensure consistent messaging across channels.
3. **Social Media & Digital Engagement:** Manage social media accounts with engaging content; design content calendars and track analytics for outreach optimization.
4. **Presentation & Dissemination:** Create high-quality presentations; support organization of webinars, workshops, and dissemination events.
**Skills & Competencies:**
– Proficiency in data tools (Excel, Power BI/Tableau, SPSS/Stata/R) and presentation software (PowerPoint, Canva).
– Experience with NGOs, think tanks, or government programs.
– Knowledge of Hindi or other regional languages preferred.
– Familiarity with data collection tools like KoboToolbox, ODK, or SurveyCTO.
**About the Role:**
The Associate will support research, communications, and data functions for projects focused on vulnerability, poverty, livelihoods, and gender in Lucknow. The ideal candidate combines analytical thinking, creative communication, and strong research acumen to inform policy and engage stakeholders.
