Indus Action works towards securing a social protection safety net for vulnerable families by providing sustainable access to a portfolio of welfare entitlements. Our approach tackles multiple deprivations experienced by vulnerable families. It provides educational access to children, maternity entitlements to pregnant and lactating mothers, income and social security support to parents and senior citizens and universal healthcare to all family members to irreversibly move vulnerable families out of poverty.

Our teams are located in Delhi, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Orissa, Chhattisgarh and Tamil Nadu

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from any stream. Masters would be preferred.
  • At least 2-3 years of work experience in project management, data analysis, and research.

Description

We are looking for an Associate, Strategy & Learning, to support strategy, data management, research and M&E. 

Primary Responsibilities 

Data Management 

  • Designing and managing data frameworks and workflows across the organisation.
  • Analysing program data and ensuring high quality of the data collected through periodic checks.
  • Standardise report formats and set up dashboards to share insights and analysis.
  • Engage with external organisations for advanced data analysis, when necessary, by defining objectives and tracking progress. 

Monitoring and Evaluation

  • Design and manage Monitoring and Evaluation frameworks for the organisation.
  • Set up and manage systems that can help gauge impact and inform program implementation. 

Research and Publications

  • 1 publication related to areas of work in the ecosystem minimum for each zone

Strategic Planning 

  • Engaging in brainstorming sessions with the team to identify problems and hypothesise causes and solutions.
  • Supporting in active cultivation and maintenance of relationships with internal and external partners/stakeholders.
  • Conducting research and literature reviews to draw from the best practices in strategic planning, and monitoring.
  • Supporting in strategizing operational plans of the organisation. 

Knowledge and Technical Skills 

  • Strong analytical (data/evidence gathering, analysis and interpretation, hypotheses framing and validation) and research capabilities
  • Strong project and operations management skills
  • Excellent written English/Hindi skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfort with technology usage and products
  • Strong Excel capabilities

Benefits

Compensation 

The range of compensation will be between 3-6 LPA depending on qualifications, experience and fit to the role and Indus Action’s compensation benchmarking rubric.
