Job Opportunity for Associate: State Program at ELMS Sports Foundation in Multiple Locations

ELMS Sports Foundation is seeking candidates for the position of Associate: State Program to work on setting up and building a state transformation program through the flagship initiative in the 5 Aspirational Districts of the state. The person will be responsible for coordinating with the implementation partners (Local NGOs in the districts) along with occasional support to the manager for state advocacy and other program partnerships in the state. The person will be reporting to the Manager: State Program.

(With a requirement to travel to other project locations as and when required)

Roles and Responsibilities:

A. Aspirational Districts Initiative:

• Managing Aspirational Districts Program in 5 districts of the state.
• Coordinating with the local NGOs partners in the district, and ensuring that they are implementing
• the desired program according to the timeline. Implementing the program as per desired quality indicators and the timeline.
• Coordinating with the local representatives of the partner organizations such as Aspirational Districts Collaborative.
• Liaison with block and district education office, sports development department and other important departments to strengthen the advocacy, operations and outcomes of the program.

B. State Program:

• Supporting the Manager: State Program in coordinating and implementation of the state level program deliverables.

Preferred qualifications, skills, and experience:

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in program implementation and management, government partnerships.
• Master’s degree in a relevant field, preferably Education and/or fellowship in the education development domain.
• Experience in the education and Sports for Development domain will be preferred.
• Experience playing team sports at a competitive level or sports coaching would be preferred.
• Proven communication skills in Hindi and English both written and oral will be preferred. Any other language proficiency will be an advantage.

Proposed compensation range:

INR 5,00,000 to 6,00,000 per annum depending on the experience and expertise of the candidate.
