Associate, Teacher Development

About the role
Currently, we have three Centres of Excellence in Delhi that are running various context-based interventions to transform learning in government schools.
The Centres of Excellence works at the intersection of educators, Students, Community and School Systems, thereby effectively impacting and involving all stakeholders to take ownership and create a sustainable space that supports and nurtures excellent education.
This role will entail assisting the team in implementing, designing, analysing and strategizing Teacher centric programs to reinvent government schools.
How can you succeed in this role?
- By building relationships with teachers to invest them in SEF’s vision and mission.
- By designing and implementing teaching and learning practices to enable high-quality learning for students in centres of Excellence.
- by building relationships and effectively collaborating with SEF team members towards impactful implementation of SEF-led interventions at COE
- By Driving the robust implementation of interventions in classrooms.
Requirements
Collaboration & Facilitation
- Create inclusion, safety and equal participation through their facilitation in both reflective and informational spaces
- Engage meaningfully with stakeholders to co-create the next steps in any intervention.
- Look for viable solutions with team members to meet goals.
Data Analysis & Design
- Collect & Present data in basic formats like ppts, excel and graphs
- Design basic plans and integrate feedback to support teacher development in schools
Project Management
- Manage their own schedule and prioritise tasks based on goals independently with minimum support to meet the desired outcomes of the program.
Continuous Learning
- Reflect on their actions, strengths, weaknesses and their impact on children & stakeholders.
- Seek opportunities to grow in their challenges and learning needs and leverage their learnings and strengths towards program needs.

Knowledge
- Intermediate G-suite skills especially excel
- Understanding of primary teaching as well as general pedagogy/ teaching and learning practices
- Design instructional plans and adult learning spaces
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience
- Prior experience working with government schools or non-governmental organisations will be preferred.
- Preference will be given to those who have some experience in adult facilitation or directly working with teachers.

- Compensation will be between Rs 5,00,000 – Rs 6,50,000 based on the experience of the candidate and will include the following perks:
