Project Chhalaang, an initiative by ELMS Sports Foundation is seeking candidates for the position of “Associate: Training and Capacity Development” for designing, conducting teacher training and the training of partner organization representatives across multiple project locations including Jharkhand, Bihar, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh etc. Under the overall supervision of the Manager: Training and Quality Assurance the Associate: Training and Capacity building will work closely with the respective project location teams as well. Bringing new innovations with designing online training modules and curating resource material for teachers will also be part of the work.

Location: New Delhi (with frequent travel to project locations across different states in India)

Roles and Responsibilities:

Training of teachers and other resource persons:

• Identify the training needs of Partner organization, Teachers, Educators, and Volunteers and provide mentoring support for strengthening session delivery.
• Facilitating Capacity Building Workshops for teachers & trainers from the Partner organizations.
• Demonstration of Sports Activities to the teachers & trainers from the Partner organizations.
• Collecting programmatic data from the ground & stakeholders both quantitative & qualitative.
• Designing online training modules and curating resource material for teachers
• Supporting the program teams in documenting Impact Reports, Monthly & Quarterly Reports, and other stories from the field.

Preferred qualifications, skills, and experience:

• Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in relevant fields.
• Any Bachelor’s degree in any subject. Candidates with a BPEd and Diploma & certifications in Physical Education/Coaching or Sports Management would be given preference.
• Experience of conducting training of trainers, training of teachers etc will be an advantage.
• Experience of playing team sports at a competitive level or sports coaching would be preferred.
• Proven communication skills in Hindi and English both written and oral will be preferred. Any other language proficiency will be an advantage.

Proposed compensation range:

INR 5,00,000 to 6,00,000 per annum depending on the experience and expertise of the candidate.
