Job Opportunity for Associate Video Editor at Arpan in Mumbai

Key Objectives of the Job :-

To create and edit videos for digital courses, social media posts and any other requirement

To support the production and post-production of all digital projects.

Major Deliverables :-

· Create and Edit videos for Arpan’s online courses

· Participate in design discussions on what the videos should look and sound like

· Find appropriate images and sounds to be used in the videos

· Create basic line art and animations that can be used in the videos

· Assemble raw footage and transfer or upload it to a computer

· Follow a script, screenplay or storyboard to maintain the flow of the AV

· Digitally splice film and video and synchronize them into one rough cut file

· Input sound and graphics to enhance footage

· Improve and correct lighting, colouring and faulty footage

· Working closely with different teams to present a final product that matches the vision of Arpan

Job Challenge :-

To be able to use scripts, storyboards, narration audios, and design ideas created by Arpan’s digital team to create high quality videos

Specialized job competencies :-

· Proficiency in editing software programs

· General understanding of computers and digital equipment and knowledge of new and cutting-edge technology

Educational Qualification :-

Graduation, preferably in Mass Media/ Film making/ Broadcasting.

Technical Skills Required :-

Adobe Premiere Pro and after effect, Basic camera handling

Desired Experience :-

1-3 years in a video editing role

Other desired attributes:-

Training in multimedia and communications

Location :- Mumbai

Salary range :- Rs.23000 – 27000 per month
