Job Description
Role and Responsibilities
1. Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle for Development
2. Produce detailed specifications of system
3. Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality
4. Develop design models based on requirements documents.
5. Support the development of business and requirements artifacts that effectively model the customer’s requirements.
6. Participate in requirements and design reviews.
7. Support system and customer acceptance testing.
8. Participate in group improvement activities and initiatives to improve quality.
9. Proficiently applies appropriate methodologies to design, code, test, implement and maintain systems.
10. Prepare, write, review and maintain effective system documentation
Skills & Abilities
1. Working Experience of open source like WordPress, Strapi etc.
2. Working Experience of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, JQuery etc.
3. Working Experience of relational databases, version control tools and of developing web servicesusin REST and SOAP architecture
4. Should be proficient in and not limited to understanding of:
o HTTP/HTTPs
o API Calls
o REST/SOAP
o oAuth 2.0
o AJAX
o MVC Architecture
o Version Control
5. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as {{Git / Mercurial / SVN}}
6. Should be proficient in Database with specific understanding of
7. RDBMS like PostgreSQL, MySQL (or similar)
8. Excellent knowledge in at least one CMS like WordPress, Drupal, Joomla or headless CMS strapi based web development.
9. Excellent knowledge in Code review, compliance / analysis ( jest, sonarqube), build tools(Webpack), CI/CD(CircleCI, Jenkins), Software Security (OWASP, Scout, Zap)
10. Should be aware of agile delivery and should easily adapt to the process.
11. Should be well familiar with Performance testing (JMeter, Gatling), Functional testing (Taiko, Jest,gauge and PACT), Unit testing and Integration testing approaches.
Qualifications and Experiences
1. Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 1+ years of experience in Web Development
2. Experience in work experience in large corporates or any govt. organization in the IT domain.
