Marketing at Udhyam :
As a five year young organisation, our focus thus far has been on piloting various programs and then taking them to scale.
Given where we are at today, with programs across 9 states and influencing lacs of lives, we are at a point where there is significant opportunity to influence far larger scale ecosystem level policies and decision making.
Marketing & advocacy will play a critical role in this effort, by allowing these ideas and programs to percolate far deeper and wider.
Overall, while a lot of our awareness and inbounds have happened more or less organically so far, we are now at a stage where we need to be more deliberate in our marketing efforts given our ambitious mission and goals.
The Role :
– Owns the marketing mandate and breaks down org level objectives into actionable marketing goals
– Drives marketing strategy and the team’s actioning towards achieving these goals
– Is able to leverage PR and drive advocacy towards furthering Udhyam’s mission
– Works closely with the leadership and the BU teams to create and implement the marketing strategy basis their respective goals
Required Skills & Experience :
– Keen on working in a purpose driven non-profit
– 15 + years of marketing experience
– High degree of ownership and a bias for action
– Willingness to be hands on and make things happen with low budgets
– Experience driving marketing strategy, goal setting and execution
– Experience driving brand advocacy
– Customer centric approach to problem solving
– Ability to work with multiple teams and manage specific asks and requirements
– An independent thinker and problem solver, able to navigate uncertainty
