As the Business Development Manager (Partnerships & Alliances) you will be responsible for forging partnerships & alliances towards acquiring more NGOs for our platform or donation flows via our platforms. This would also involve making sales to larger NGOs with longer decision making processes and longer sales cycles. This could also involve working with particular segments of customers to crack a new market (e.g. hospitals, schools etc). Mostly it will focus on working with other intermediaries/aggregators in the space with whom tieups can result in more NGOs joining our platform and have more donation flowing to NGOs.

Ideally you should have experience in a similar role creating partnerships & alliances driving growth in revenue for organizations that you have previously worked with. We will also consider those with experience in business development roles to larger corporates. Experience in lead generation will be an added advantage while applying for this role We are looking at folks who are strong both in selling to the customer and servicing them as well as having great problem solving and solutioning skills. And we are looking at folks with connection to the social sector for whom this is more of a passionate endeavor than simply a job. This is a senior level position reporting directly to the CEO so we are looking for candidates with maturity. While number of years of experience is not the most important thing, significant potential in business development, sales, marketing, customer service, operations and team management is important and will be judged for.

Candidates MUST have at least 2 years of experience to be considered.

What are we looking for?

1. Strong communication – both oral & written in English. Speaking fluency in multiple languages is an added advantage

2. Experience in Sales – preferably Business Development experience in creating partnerships & alliances or at least B2B sales to large corporates

3. Problem-solving & Solutioning capabilities with an ability to think both innovatively & creatively

4. Excellent analytical capabilities (fantastic on Excel) and an ability to grasp things fast

5. An MBA degree will be an added advantage in this role

Most importantly – an almost crazy willingness to learn!!!
