Established in 2016, ISDM cultivates skilled professionals committed to global social change. Recognizing the crucial role of effective management in achieving significant social impact, ISDM offers a Post Graduate Program in Development Management (PGP-DM) and various capacity-building initiatives. The school is expanding its operations, including establishing Centers of Excellence, such as the Centre for Philanthropy for Inclusive Development, to further its mission of creating a just, equitable, and sustainable world.
**About the Centre for Philanthropy for Inclusive Development:**
The Centre aims to channel more private philanthropy towards inclusive development by influencing the mindsets and practices of funders, social purpose organizations (SPOs), and intermediaries. The goal is to drive systemic change that empowers underserved communities, causes, and geographies.
**Job Description:**
As Centre Lead, you will be responsible for setting the vision, strategic direction, and operational execution of the Centre for Philanthropy for Inclusive Development. This includes:
* **Strategic Planning & Execution:** Developing and implementing an annual Strategic Operating Plan (SOP), ensuring alignment with ISDM’s overall goals and the Centre’s mission.
* **Financial Management:** Overseeing budgeting, tracking expenditures, and maintaining fiscal responsibility.
* **Stakeholder Engagement:** Building and maintaining relationships with funders, advisors, academic leaders, and external partners; amplifying the Centre’s work through strategic communication and outreach.
* **Governance:** Overseeing and strengthening the Centre’s governance processes, working closely with the Advisory Council.
* **Team Leadership:** Building, leading, and mentoring a high-performing team.
* **Innovation & Fundraising:** Collaborating with the Fundraising team to secure resources.
**Qualifications:**
* 12-18 years of experience in the social sector, with a proven track record of working with philanthropists.
* Post-graduate degree or equivalent in Management Studies/Social Sciences, or a related field.
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
* Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
* Strong collaborative spirit, ownership, and problem-solving skills.
* Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
**Experience Required:** 12-18 years in the social sector, working with philanthropists.
