**Position Summary:**
The Convergence Foundation (FAST India), a non-profit dedicated to advancing science and technology (S&T) in India, seeks an intern for the CEO’s Office. This role involves supporting projects focused on analyzing economic policies and conducting financial analyses.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Research & Data Collection:** Investigate tariffs, non-tariff barriers, and their impact on R&D and innovation across countries.
2. **Analysis & Synthesis:** Analyze trends to assess the effectiveness of these barriers and compare financial impacts of CapEx vs R&D spending.
3. **Report Preparation:** Compile findings into concise reports for stakeholders, including government departments.
4. **Knowledge Creation:** Assist in creating policy briefs and present findings clearly for internal and external use.
**Qualifications:**
– Strong motivation to support India’s economic and social development through S&T.
– Final year undergraduate or postgraduate student with an educational background in Economics or related fields.
– Proficiency in financial analysis tools (STATA, R, Python) and experience with regression analysis.
– Ability to multitask, think strategically, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
