**Job Title:** Chief Operating Officer (COO)  

**Location:** Delhi / Mumbai / Bangalore / Hyderabad / Chennai

**Experience Required:**  

– Master’s degree with 18+ years of professional experience, including senior leadership roles in management consulting from a top-tier firm.  

**Key Responsibilities:**  

– Partner with the CEO to translate organizational strategy into operational plans and ensure seamless functioning of internal systems.  

– Oversee day-to-day operations, designing streamlined workflows, and implementing mechanisms to track performance metrics.  

– Manage financial and grants administration, develop budgets, and secure sustainable funding streams.  

– Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including state governments and philanthropic funders.  

– Ensure compliance with legal standards and mitigate operational risks.  

**Qualifications:**  

– Proven track record of operational leadership in complex environments.  

– Strong understanding of governance, public finance, or capacity-building in Indian states is desirable.  

– Expertise in designing efficient processes, leading multidisciplinary teams, and managing diverse stakeholders.
