Job Opportunity for Clinical Director at Intelehealth

About the position:

We are looking for a Clinical Director to join our Programs team at Intelehealth to assist in the development  and implementation of our telemedicine projects. We are looking for an MD physician with at least 7 years’ clinical experience to join our team with a focus on improving patient care. This position reports directly to the CEO. In this role you would be responsible for initiatives related to monitoring & improving the quality of clinical care provided in our telemedicine projects and the development of a high-quality telemedicine software.

Requirements

As a Clinical Director at Intelehealth, a typical day might include:

• Leadership of clinical operations
• Ensure that patients receive the highest standard of medical care
• Recruit, train and mentor physicians
• Supervise the performance of physicians in our telemedicine project
• Ensure that all healthcare regulations and safety standards are met
• Keep staff updated on new healthcare regulations
• Develop curriculum, cases and role plays for training
• Organize and deliver training sessions and CME sessions for health workers, doctors and public health administrators
• Conduct quality assurance checks and prepare audit reports
• Find new ways to improve quality of clinical services
• Develop and review clinical protocols for Intelehealth’s telemedicine software
• Conduct research and evaluation studies for validation of our clinical protocols and software
• Manage a Clinical Advisory Board of volunteer physicians who contribute to protocol development
• Develop and manage a departmental budget.
• Represent Intelehealth at conferences.

You have:

Qualifications and Experience:

• Medical degree – MD in Community Medicine/Internal Medicine
• Valid medical license.
• 7+ years clinical experience.
• 1+ years experience in a management role.
• Clinical risk management experience.
• Prior experience working in digital health is advantageous.
