**Position Summary:**
The Cluster Coordinator will oversee and facilitate the effective implementation of the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) across multiple villages within a designated cluster in Orcha, Madhya Pradesh. This role requires strong community engagement, project management, and capacity-building skills to achieve sustainable water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) improvements.
**Responsibilities:**
* Develop and execute detailed work plans for JJM activities.
* Develop model Gram Panchayats showcasing best practices in WASH.
* Support the creation and implementation of village action plans.
* Conduct community education campaigns on safe water usage and hygiene.
* Promote positive WASH behaviors and community ownership of water infrastructure.
* Facilitate training for Village Water and Sanitation Committees (VWSC) and local volunteers.
* Empower women and youth in WASH initiatives.
* Monitor project progress, collect data, and report to the project management team.
* Resolve operational issues in collaboration with stakeholders.
* Liaise with government bodies, NGOs, and other stakeholders.
* Organize community events and provide additional support as needed.
**Qualifications and Experience:**
* Bachelor’s degree in social work, rural development, public health, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
* Minimum 3-4 years of experience in rural development, WASH, or a related field, with a focus on community mobilization and project coordination.
* Strong organizational and leadership skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Familiarity with local languages and cultural dynamics of the Orcha region.
* Commitment to community development and sustainable WASH practices.
