SUMMARY

A Communications associate is responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of specific projects. The role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, attention to detail and proficiency in writing and drafting documents. Overall, project coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the success of projects by ensuring they are completed on time and meet the required quality standards.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Determine the communication needs of the projects that involve identifying the target audience, message to be communicated, through right channels, and frequency.
  • Create project-specific documentation and deliver presentations to potential partners, donors, and government officials in the relevant domain.
  • Compose official letters related to the project or proposals for the state government or line departments.
  • Ensure that all content created complies with internal and donor-specific communication and knowledge management guidelines and standards.
  • Collect and share event and workshop summaries, along with corresponding pictures, with the communication team for the purpose of posting on social media.
  • Writing articles/blogs/PR pieces. Developing periodic reports for partners and donors. 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong organizational skills, must be able to multitask and be efficient in time-sensitive situations.
  • Excellent communication skills are required to work with internal teams, stakeholders, partners, etc.
  • Ability to interpret functional requirements, analyze problems with precision and clarity.
  • Clear and concise visual and written documentation skills to effectively communicate system enhancements to the development team.
  • Results-driven self-starter who takes ownership of problems/tasks and sees them through to completion/resolution.
  • Candidates should have a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
