Job Description
USAID PAHAL PROJECT
Partnerships for Affordable Healthcare Access and Longevity (PAHAL): IPE Global Limited (IPE Global) through PAHAL aims to provide technical support and risk mitigation measures for the Blended Financing Facility for healthcare solutions, that can play a critical role in using the additional Emergency Relief Fund (ERF) to provide grant funding to scale up high impact solutions that address the critical health system challenges faced during the second wave of the pandemic in India. These include oxygen delivery systems, vaccine cold chain storage, personal protective equipment (PPE), drugs and diagnostics, including low-cost RTPCR kits, ArtificialIntelligence (AI) for tracing COVID-19 hotspots, precision surveillance diagnostic system and facility-based interventions to address COVID-19.
You will support the team and provide inputs in the following area:
§ Support in creating and implementing the communication strategy of PAHAL program
§ Support in ideating and drafting narrative/messaging for a diverse audience
§ Draft content for program collaterals and platforms including, but not limited to, brochures, flyers, emailers, newsletters, case studies, website, social media
§ Draft content for media presence – press releases, opinion pieces, feature stories
§ Create social media plans, calendars and communication themes in collaboration with program teams
§ Draft presentations and talking points tailored to specific events.
§ Conceptualise marketing collaterals in conjunction with program teams and communication agency
§ Modify/update website information using the portal’s content management system (CMS)
§ Liaison with external communication partners, including communications/marketing agency, website developer, freelancers, printers
§ Track and monitor vendor payments
§ Monitor and support the program teams to follow program branding guidelines for all documents.
Qualifications and Experience
§ 5 to 6 years of work experience in communications/content writing
§ Should be a Post Graduate in Social Sciences, preferably development Studies/International development/development communication or other related field.
§ Strong content writing, editing and proofreading skills
§ Proficient at secondary research
§ Adept with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and design tools such as Canva for layout and design of documents
§ Experience in managing online and offline events
§ Understanding of current trends in digital media/social media.
§ Organizational and planning skills.
§ Sharp eye for detail, both in terms of content and design.
§ Perseverance and commitment to deliver high quality output
