Roles and Responsibilities
The candidate will lead the Communications efforts and report to Communications and Development Associate at LFE. The primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Internal and External Communication Social Media Management (75%)
- Manage LFE’s social media handles and other relevant platforms
- Develop and create assets/campaigns for strengthening social media presence
- Assist in creating and designing monthly newsletters for LFE’s external communication
- Support internal communication initiatives on current official mediums (Slack)
- Ideate and conceptualize engaging content for expanding brand outreach
- Assist with scheduling social media posts and managing a weekly calendar
- Track and analyze monthly engagement and audience response on virtual platforms
Content design (25%)
- Design written, graphic, and video content for LFE’s website, newsletters and social media handles
- Assist in designing brochures, annual reports, and other collaterals as and when required
- Contribute to the overall creative communication of the organization
Requirements
Education & Experience
- 0-1 year of relevant experience in communication, social media management and design
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Communications & Design, from an accredited college or university, is required
- Experience and interest in social media management
- Experience with designing and marketing tools (Canva, MailChimp, Photoshop, Wix)
Knowledge, Skills & Capabilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Effective design skills for online and offline platforms with a passion for creativity
- A coherent understanding of social media best practices, trends, relevant design layouts and graphic design basics
- Be comfortable with working on G Suite
- A basic understanding of social equity, development discourse & edu policy in India
- Patience and resilience to stick it out in the face of setbacks and uncertainties
Location and Compensation
Location: Pune
Compensation: Ranges from 2.5 L/p.a – 3.5L/p.a
